How do I become a member of the Hume Eagles Rugby Club?You can join us by clicking REGISTER on the main menu and completing the registration form or by following this link: If you need any help you can send us an enquiry through our home page, or contact us via email or phone which can be found at the bottom of this page. You are also welcome to come down to the club on Tuesday or Thursday evenings during training to have a chat with our friendly team. Please also keep an eye out on our social media, as we will advertise club opening days prior to the season!

Do I need to be registered with VIC NRL to play or volunteer?Yes, all playing and non-playing members including volunteers must be registered with VIC NRL and players must be registered with the Hume Eagles Rugby League Club. You can do this by following this link. There is also a video with instructions under the category HOW TO VIDEOS in the FAQs.

What age group can my child play in?Your child's birth year will determine the age group they can play in, for example: Birth year 2011: child can play in under 14's or 1 age group above (under 15's)

When and where are games played?Game days and locations vary depending on VIC NRL fixtures released each week. We understand that families may have challenges travelling to games around the different areas of Melbourne. We are a supportive club and parents/volunteers do try to help each other out to get players to their games.

Do I need to have a Working With Children's Check (WWCC) to volunteer?Yes, it is a requirement as a part of the child safety standards, that all volunteers aged 18 or above must have a valid WWCC. You can apply for a free volunteers WWCC through Services Australia by following this link.

Does Hume Eagles Rugby League Club handle insurance?Insurance claims and reimbursements are not handled by the Hume Eagles Rugby League Club directly. Insurance is managed through a separate provider on behalf of VIC NRL.
